So we got rid of the old Malibu. It was a nice car - but we've been spending a fortune recently on repairing it, and it was rusty, so I wanted a car we could rely on for the baby, AND we needed more room in the car !

We got a 2006 model Ford Focus ZXW SES (Wagon/Estate), in black. Has all the guff on it, including leather seats and sunroof too. 13,000km on it when we got it - eleven and a half months old. Traded the old car and then paid C$15,000 + tax. It's a 2.0L, which is a noticeable come down on the 3.1L of the Malibu - but it's OK.
